Hickory Hallow Campground - Utica, IL
Location: Utica, IL
Site#: C2
Type of hookups: Full hookups 50 AMP.
Big Rig Friendly: Yes.
Wi-Fi: Yes
Cable: No
Pros: Very Nice clean campground, at a reasonable rate. Easy on and off from the interstate. The campground itself is spread out and not overly congested. The interior roads are wide and paved, the sites gravel and level, and the trees have been very nicely trimmed (no low tree branches to scrape the rig on).
Cons: Not very good TV reception with the antenna. If you are a light sleeper the road noise from the I-80 maybe a bit noisy.
Cost: 28.80/night
Rating: 7.5
Notes: The owners were constantly working while we were there to improve the campground. Wifi worked great where we were located (near the office), not sure how it is back in the "J" section which is the furthest away from the office.
