We have created the campground page to assist you in deciding whether you would like to stay at a given campground. We currently have a 40' Diesel Motorhome with three slides; prior to 2007 we had a 35' Gas Motorhome with one slide. We do not rate campground bathroom facilities as we seldom use them; we prefer the convenience of our own restroom. We use the various campground links on the left side of this page in determining where to stay.

Happy Camping!

Border Inn

Location: Baker, NV
Site#: 2
Type of hookups: Full hookups 50 AMP.
Big Rig Friendly: Yes.
Wi-Fi: Yes, but very weak signal. We used our Verizon Aircard
Cable: No
Pros: Not a lot of options for campgrounds in this area and this was probably the best. They also have gas and diesel pumps out front, which we filled up just because of the convenience. They also had a restaurant, which is also hard to find on this route.
Cons: Was very windy and dusty while we were there.
Cost: $22.20
Rating: 7.o
Notes: We stayed here because we wanted to tour the Great Basin National Park, and this was the closest "big-rig friendly" park with 50 amp. Not much else in this area.
